What is anger?
Anger is a norml human emotional response.  Some people say that it is unhealthy to be angry and will go to any lengths to hold back their anger; others say that it is okay to exhibit the anger that you feel.  This emotion emerges to tell you that there is a situation that needs your immediate attention.  Anger is neither good nor bad; it is how you react to that emotion that creates the peace or turmoil in your life.

Anger can cost you, your:
Health - Poor anger control can lead to: breathing problems, heart disease, diabetes, alcohol related problems, and overeating

Self-Esteem - It can lead to feelings of guilt, shame, embarrassment, and remorse.  Sorrow issues can lead to low self-esteem.

Relationships - Verbal or physical anger outbursts, can destroy marriages, families, and friendships.

Children - Witnessing anger attacks can be more devastating than a divorce.  Parents modeling inappropriate anger can lead children to follow in their footsteps.
